Running a flash movie backwards- for reel!

http://www.webwasp.co.uk/tutorials/b06-backwards/backwards.php
This is a tutorial that I have been searching for for the longest time. It tell how to make a flaash movie play in a backwards direction. This will take out the need to supply extra frame to simulate a backwards moving movie.

America the beautiful!

Life is very short for those of us that desire to complete worth while tasks. To those of us that belong to this very small group, there is no more disturbing of an issue than people who have nothing to do, no goals and no clue. So many have taken it upon themselves to become baby factories and couch potatoes. Our country is the laughing stock of the world with our fat asses, gigantic vehicles and loss of community. It is very difficult to find places that do not enter into the urban sprawl category. A Waliworld around every corner and everyone driving to get there. Do you know what a bicycle is? Your feet were made for walking farther than from your door to your car then from your car to your mall. Do something with your body. Splenda is not the answer! But I think that Soylent Green could be. Don’t just skate from one task to the next, enjoy yourself!

Slow People!

Driving is something that we do to get somewhere. When you are on a highway, drive fast and get out of the way of those driving faster. When you are in the city, go at least the speed limit. When you are out for a nice little drive through the country and someone pulls up on your ass, give them the finger while waving them by. Driving on a monday morning on you way to work or school is about getting somewhere, not dreaming about what else you could be doing. Don' t play with yourself while people are doing their best to get where they are supposed to be.

Shafted!

I spent the last two weeks preparing for a talk on a subject that I have zero knowledge on. I prepared an abstract and sent it to the powers that be and recieved no response. It turns out that he had escaped to his cabin and avoided contact with the outside. This is anyones right, but not when there is a task to be completed. After this weekend he came in and proceeded to lecture me and my group about how he has never had to cancel a talk ever before and that this was completely my fault. He continued to hammer on me about how rude I am and how he never recieved an email from me. Got to tell you it took every good bone in my body to keep from bringing up the proofs that this was his fault. I know that he is the kind of man how would have ejected me out of the program that I am one credit away from finishing, his credit. Took it in the rear on this one. Some times it goes that way, just have to keep your self worth.

How to place a photo in your blog.

Lets go ahead and try this Photo thing. As far as I am concerned this is a real pain in the ass and there really should be a good tutorial on how to make it work. So let me figure it out and I will then write a decent tutorial on how to get it down.

This gif was made by my better half.

this is not really a tutorial but I will give you the code that I came up with for this. Just copy it and paste it into your Blogger Edit HTML page. Make sure to change the photo to the one you are trying to show. The script below is the exact script used to provide the first half of this blog. You will want to change aspects of it. After pasting the code into the Edit HTML tab, go to the Compose tab and remove or change the aspects that you want.

<style type="text/css"><br /><!-- .style1 { font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10px; } --><br /></style><span style="font-size:85%;"><span style="font-family:arial;">Lets go ahead and try this Photo thing. voilà, enjoy.

Snowboarding

I have finally made it out to the slopes here in central NY. I hit Greek peak yesterday with my brother Geoff. We had an amazing time cutting up all of that unmarked powder in the glades. I have to tell you that the feeling of floating on top of fluffy snow, barreling down a hill in the woods is exhilarating. I always have the most amazing time cutting with my brother. We always find some great jump leading over a cliff and flying through the air with no expectation of a super graceful landing, only to have the feeling of hitting pillow of snow and having it plume out all around you. The outcome of your landing is almost of zero importance due to the amazing feeling that you have just engulfed. Plus wiping in the deep snow includes a very small amount of pain.
