Music Driving!
A fast, hard pounding music filled ride home from work is so invigorating. It just wakes up the soul to have some good music blaring, beating your ear drums and hammering your chest while weave in and out of piles of cars. The chance of getting a ticket just makes it that much more exciting, you just need to be good at staying out of laser shot. Good luck and have fun!I highly suggest some Tool for music.
Google Reader?
That is right Google thinks that it knows how to read now. Well not really. Google Reader is an RSS reading program. Ok, Ok I know not everyone knows what RSS is in the first place, I just found out recently myself. Just to give you the skinny, RSS stands for real simple syndication. That was originally designed to be used for quick news publication and distribution. How it works is a very simple web format document is published by the webmaster of a webpage usually in XML format. An RSS Reader accesses the link of this document supplying the reader with only the information that is included on this RSS link. What this is used for now is all web pages that are changing on a regular basis like my Blog that really didn’t change for awhile but it is now. This makes it very easy for a user to decide to go back to a page and read new content without having visit everyday and find that nothing has changed. Pages with RSS content will have a link similar to mine over on the right hand side of the page. Firefox users will find even more feeds being that Firefox displays a RSS icon in the status bar for pages that have RSS content. Here is a link to my favorite feeds recently published and here is some more in depth information on RSS feeds. Use Google to its highest extent, they are offering more free web tools all of the time + they have an RSS feed for this.
Back in the saddle again
I have been back for way too long to have missed out on so many chances to update this blog, for this I am sorry. I have good reason and that is I am hard at work on a project that I never thought could be this difficult… My Thesis! Yes I know that I have talked allot about this in the past but I have to tell you that when you are running full force into a project and really making some headway it is a very bad idea to take off for 4 months OFF! In this OFF means take a research trip to Antarctica and don’t do any work for yourself. This is a hard thing, being in the best place to continue your research but not be able to conduct your own experiments. It is very difficult to keep your head high in these types of situations. Near the end I jammed some of my own stuff into the schedule and got some good stuff done. Makes it all feel a little better. I don’t have much to talk about these days, until I finish my thesis, but I will do a better job of keep you all in the loop about anything that does happen. I am going to my brothers’ art show tomorrow at the Art Directors Club. I will talk about that and I am taking my camera. Photos will be up on my gallery.
