New wheels and a clean car...

I almost replaced this great vehicle but my buddy Dan told me he knew of some great 17" steel wheels. A little curb rash that is nicely hidden by the tire, so "Game Onnn"! Put them on with new low profile tires and I am getting the worst gas mileage ever. A great handling car changes the way you drive. :)

April?

Something is not right here. I know that there are some real issues occurring with general planetary climate changes but 3 inches of snow collected in mid April is bad news. Plus the forecast is calling for 5-8 more inches of this heavy wet slop!

Temperature dropped enough to form ice underneath the collected snow making driving a real chore this morning, especially for those of us who changed our winter tires out for summer tires. Makes one wish they were more of a slacker.

This helps confirm my thoughts I discussed in the past about season shifting. I am not one to say that we are observing something as terrible and apocalyptic as some would have us think but we are not heading down a good road right now. Maybe my next car will be electric, it is just so hard to give up that fossil fuel power.
